Corrected leather is treated to give a more uniform and robust surface. Natural irregularities are sanded away, after which the leather is pigmented and often embossed with a texture. This process results in a durable leather that is highly resistant to dirt and stains and extremely practical for everyday use. Corrected leather is easy to clean and suitable for intensive use.
The appearance is more uniform and less natural than aniline and semi-aniline leather, but in return, high durability and minimal maintenance are achieved.
